how can i change the pick up ？

I recently purchased a iPhone, pickup time is a week later. The pick up contract person is me, how can I change it to my friend instead?

I pay Verizon $10 a month for the iPad to be linked on my account and it even has it’s own number, albeit that number is never used. I asked Verizon why I pay that and what I get for this fee. Pick up from store I would order Iphone and want to pick up from store. Please let me know if my friend can pick up it instead of me? Is it mandatory that I have to be there personally ? The second question is how long you keep pre ordered device in the store? Is there any limit for pick up?
