preordered iphone 12 pro max

Why does the preorder delivery date not show within days or the day of release? Currently suggest 24-30/11 and we live near a store

Because that when they estimate they will be able to ship you your selected device.

I appreciate that is the estimation, I just don’t understand why preorders open if it’s not going to arrive on release day
