Can't connect to AirPods - iOS 14.2 Bluetooth issue

I have been having issues with my air pods generation 1 and other Bluetooth devices since this morning when I updated my iPhone 11 Pro to IOS 14.2. Yesterday I used my AirPods with no issues while on IOS 14.1 but after the upgrade the sound in my air pods was on and off even though the phone showed the air pods connected and the application was playing music. I tried several applications, Apple's music, Spotify, etc all had the same issue. I rebooted the iPhone and connected the air pods again with the same issue. I removed the air pods device from the phone and now the air pods won't pair with the phone. When the air pods are on, the phone detects them but it fails to pair. I then tried with a different device, JAWBone speaker. I had the exact same results and now I can't get the phone to pair with the JAWbone speaker.

I had reset the air pods several times and pair them many times before successfully. I removed and connected my air pods to my iMac running MacOS 10.15.7. so the air pods are working fine.

I read the reviews prior to updating and did not see any complains about bluetooth.

Thanks for the response but before I wrote the post I had already found that article and tried all of the alternatives in there and several more.

I ended up reloading 14.1 into my phone and restoring it from a full backup after that.

Funny, once I was back running 14.1 all Air pods connected and I was also able to connect to the JAWbone speaker.

I think 14.2 has issues with Bluetooth, too bad is not easy to debug it.
