Microsoft surface mouse connected to MacBook Pro

will there be any problem if I connect Microsoft surface mouse with MacBook Pro . I got used with scrolls and clicks and I find it really hard to work with Mac's mouse .. I needed something which is next to mac's mouse and it doesn't have any problems for my Mac. so please do let me know if I can use all the options of a mouse if I connect Microsoft surface mouse with my MacBook Pro.
