When I say “Hey Siri” I get no verbal response-I get a “ding”. However, when I ask him to perform a function he speaks. I have an Iphone 7 with IOS 14.1. I reset the settings after the 14.1 upgrade but no luck. It’s driving me crazy. Here are my Siri Settings.
ON
Listen for Hey Siri
Press Home for Siri
Allow Siri when locked
SPOKEN RESPONSES
Always on
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Go to Settings. Tap Siri & Search. Turn off Listen for "Hey Siri," then turn it back on. When the Set Up "Hey Siri" screen appears, tap Continue.

I also had this problem with the swedish siri, if you go to settings and siri, I switched off and on allow siri when screen is locked.
