No Internet on LTE - IPhone 12 iOS 14.2

I am only able to access the internet on Wifi. LTE does not work despite having at least 2 bars. I have done a signal strengths field test and signals were in an acceptable range. My cellular data is set to LTE. I have reset my network connection. I upgraded to iOS 14.2 and restarted my phone. This seems to be a device or software issue. Help!

This is happening to my IPhone XR and my husband's IPhone X!!! At first I thought MMS was not working because we are connected to wifi most of the time, but after a few month's of messing around with our phones, I have found when our wifi disconnects our phones will show however many bars of LTE (2-4 typically) but we will not have any data at all. They both connect to 4G fine unless we toggle airplane mode a bunch of times with LTE selected. I did trouble shooting with Apple and they found "nothing wrong" and told me to go back to my carrier (tmobile). I actually have another ticket open with t-mobile now but this makes me wonder if it is an Apple problem... it started in Dec.

I am having this issue as well! I’ve had a 7+ since 2015 and have had to Insurance on it a couple of times and just had to do it again almost 2 weeks ago and they sent me an 11. I kept getting that I wasn’t on a network and there was no internet connection even though I was on my WiFi so then they sent me a warranty replacement of another 11 and same issues. So I decided to bite the bullet and upgrade to the 12 pro max, same issues! Thank you to this forum bc I took off my Norton 360 and everything started working then I added the Norton back and it’s still working! It made no sense that my husband and son both have 11’s and had never had an issue like this, however they also didn’t have the Norton 360 downloaded! They need to educate all sale people on this, there were 4 people working on my phone at T-Mobile plus people at customer support, hopefully this fix stays and fixed it!!!

Ditto and here it is 6/27/21. Verizon referred me to Apple. Apple couldn't fix. Pretty frustrating when every help desk says they don't know about this issue and run you through a battery of diagnostics that always fail.

5G works on my spouses iphone (12 Max) but not on mine and they are telling me it's not a hardware issue. I moved my sim card from my spouses iphone to my new iphone and my new phone still did not work. I'm convinced it's the phone. Thoughts?

1. I did answer your question in the first post, but let me be more specific.

Yes, my Cellular is on for Instagram. Again, I’ve done that several times, as well as made sure my Cellular was on for numerous other apps and that the Voice/Date was set for LTE.
2. I do not have any protection software on my iPhone.
3. There is no other Profiles on this phone.
4. The internet connection error/no connection happens intermittently and randomly, regardless on my LTE Signal strength, which leads me to believe this is an Apple software problem and not a service problem.

Actually, 4. leads ME to believe it is a network problem. Intermittent software problems are practically non-existent. Software works, or it doesn’t. If you could never get a connection I would be more likely to think software.

Who is your carrier? If you mentioned it I can’t find it.

Ok, to be be clear this is a user-to-user technical support site operated by Apple. No Apple engineers or management is here. AlexDaMan is just a volunteer trying to help you. You said nothing as to what version you were even running so how was he supposed to know you did that? You are just making yourself look low class.
