Sound cuts out for last minute of Apple TV+ shows

An odd problem I've seen reported elsewhere, but not answered. I have an iPad running Apple TV+ and connected to a TV via a HyperDrive USB C Hub and HDMI cable. Shows play fine to the TV ...until the last minute or so of an episode, when the sound cuts out. Leave things running to the start of the next episode and the sound starts up again perfectly. But at the end of that episode, the same happens again...

Hello CherryHintonBlue,

It sounds like you have some questions about watching Apple TV+ shows on your TV via your iPad Pro and the sound not coming through near the end of the show. You mentioned that you use a HyperDrive USB-C hub, have you tried another adapter, perhaps the Apple adapter for USB-C to HDMI?

Are you seeing this behavior when you watch any other videos, such as purchased content or other streaming platforms? Also, make sure that your HDMI cable supports the resolution that your TV uses.

You can find more information about connecting your iPad Pro to HDMI displays or TVs here:

Charge and connect with the USB-C port on iPad Pro

Regards.
