Add email iiphone 11

Trying to add an att.net email account starting with Yahoo (which I have successfully done before). Now, after going thru the user name and password screens (which I know are correct), I get another unfamiliar screen, with the header "Set Personal Password." I did this once, changed the password, went through the whole add process again, and still end up with the "set personal password" screen. How do I proceed thru this screen?
