As I understand your post you want to make a music video and insert multiple Picture in Picture clips.
Can you describe for me what effect you are trying to create? I am having trouble envisioning exactly what you are trying to do. Do you have a video of musicians playing, and you want to insert pictures or video clips into it? If so, you can drag your clips into the upper timeline above the video, and use the Picture in Picture feature to insert your images.
