Is there some way to make sense of the analytics you share with apple?
Is there anything a common, non tech savvy person could understand out of these analytics we share?

Hello BobNotABuilder789,
Thank you for reaching out and using Apple Support Communities.
What iPhone Analytics shares, that’s a great question. When you select to share, it does not gather any personal information. It gathers data for hardware, performance, about the device, and how it’s used with applications.
You can find full details about Device Analytics & Privacy right on your iPhone. Open Settings > Privacy > Analytics & Improvement. You will see Analytics Data and a brief description, along with a link About Analytics & Privacy. If you tap on that link, you will get see detailed information. For more information, see Share analytics, diagnostics, and usage information with Apple.
If you have further questions, just reach back out.
Take care!

No, because you would need the data dictionary for iOS to understand it, and that is not available outside of Apple. In reality, even developers and engineers don’t try to understand the analytics. They process them through an application that sorts and summarizes the information in the log files.
