Amen to that, I've owned watches long enough to know not to test the water resistance unless you specifically have a divers watch good to 200 meters. Apple slowly removed all the exterior moisture indicators when they switched from the 30 pin connector and the headphone jack.

There may one there too but I'm not sure.
The only visible one on the XR is the SIM slot. All the rest can only be viewed if the phone is opened.
