Got an iPad mini 5 and ipad Air2. There must be SOME way to draw on my apple maps, isn't there?! Know this has been asked a few yrs ago but now that there's a dedicated ipadOS plus apple pencil, I'm really hoping some method has become available?????
Yes, I do know I can draw on a screenshot but that doesn't solve my issues.

The iPad Mini 5 has this capability using the Apple Pencil and using the screenshot feature.
You will never be able to markup on a live active map stream just like you cannot mark up a live Internet website.
Your iPad Air 2 is too old, does not support any Apple Pencil and therefore will not be able to mark up anything, but screenshots using special third party apps that let you write on images either with a finger OR third party, commonplace capactive stylii.
