can i upgrade from high sierra to catalina?

I have a MacPro, mid-2012, currently running on High Sierra, with enough storage en memory to upgrade to MacOS Catalina. MacOS Catalina does not show among the updates of the AppStore en when I attempt to download it from the tab ' Featuring' I am getting the message that Catalina failed to install.

The model of my Mac is shown among the models which is compatible for Catalina. Any one out there for some tips? Thank you!
