iTunes not saving changes.

For the last couple of months, iTunes will not save any new playlists I create or edited old playlists. When I close iTunes and reopen. It reverts back to state before saving problems started. Can't figure out what is wrong. Anyone have same issue?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.13

It sounds like your playlists are not saving. We understand how important it is for your playlists to save and we're here to help.


Do you currently have an Apple Music subscription? If so, let's verify Sync Library is enabled. This article should help: Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music


If the issue persists, can you provide a few details about what you are experiencing? When did you first notice this? Which device are you currently using? Are you running the latest iTunes version? Also, have you restarted your device since you first noticed this?
