HP LaserJet Pro MFP M225dw "unable to verify the printer on your network" - HELP!

My HP printer got bricked when the driver certificates were messed up (I believe HP caused this mess). Until Oct. 23, 2020, my printer worked fine. I could send print jobs wirelessly from my iMac, iPhone, and iPad. After the HP screwup, print jobs would just hang. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the printers, but get an error saying "Unable to verify the printer on your network."

Is there a fix for this?

Will HP or Apple be rolling out a solution?

Thanks in advance.

If your HP printer doesn't work and you see a warning that HP software '...will damage your computer' - Apple Support

Hi,

It would probably be correct to assume that you are using a Wi-Fi router (not a direct wireless connection to the printer). If this has not been done earlier, try to switch off (remove power from) the router, the printer, and all computers, phones and iPads. After a minute power on the router. Wait another minute and switch on the printer, the computers and other devices.
