Battery replacement or a new MacBook?

Hello. My 5-years-old MacBook Pro (early 2015) needs a battery replacement currently. I'm not sure if it's better to repair the battery or get a new one. This MacBook works fine right now, although it'll be slow when I edit videos on final cut pro and open many tabs. Is it worth to buy a new MacBook Pro (or Air) 2020? My main uses for computer are for school works, music and videos, video edition and game sometimes. Is Pro better for than Air for my purpose?

(note: I sent my MacBook back to the store to repair its motherboard last year)
