macOS Utilities.. No driver to connect and no time machine back up and no idea of how to reinstall MacOS

I don't have a side bar to see any other drives to add plus when I run first aid nothing changes and I don't have any idea of how to get my drive back up

Hello, apollo212.

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. We understand that you are unable to run first aid on a disk in macOS utilities because there is no sidebar to select one.

With Disk Utility open, look for the 'View' drop down button in the top left corner. Are you able to change what you see by selecting "Show Sidebar"?
