I can't scan documents from my iPhone

When I try to scan documents from my iPhone to my MacBook using Pages, Notes, Numbers, or Keynote, I have the following error "Could not import from iPhone. The device was disconnected." This happens when I use the command: Insert > Import from iPhone > Scan Documents.

However, when using the command: Insert > Import from iPhone > Take Photo, I can import pictures to Pages, Numbers, Notes, and Keynote, using my iPhone's camera with no problems.

Anyone can help?
