Safari using google.com instead of UK

I searched & searched for the answer to this but couldn't find it for months until I came across it so thought id share!

When using the search bar it would search the US version of google which was incredibly frustrating.

The fix actually comes from within google itself...

It's due to your search region being set to United States instead of United Kingdom.
