Cannot redeem the free AppleTV+ year

Last year I bought an iPhone in October and received the one year AppleTV. I bought a new iPhone this year, just before the expiry of the first 12 months. However, Apple extended my first free subscription till February 2021. Now I see the option “Apple TV+ Free Year Available” in Settings in the new phone, but when I click on Accept, it opens the app, but the subscription still shows February 2021, not November. I waited for couple of days, tried again, same situation.

Users can redeem just one Apple TV+ offer, regardless of the number of devices purchased.

Thank you, do you know where it is described? Under all devices there is "Get 1 year of Apple TV+ free when you buy a Mac." "Get 1 year of Apple TV+ free when you buy an iPhone." and the check eligibility link doesn't work.

The footnote doesn't say anything about one offer per client or that the free years do not stack. The best I could find was in a promo link "Offer cannot be combined with other free trials or offers for Apple TV+. " so it sounds like I have to wait for the current one to expire to claim it again. So the free extension was actually unfortunate.

“2. Only one offer per Apple ID and only one offer per family if you’re part of a Family Sharing group, regardless of the number of devices you or your family purchases.” [1]

and

“2. Offer cannot be combined with other free trials or offers for Apple TV+.

3. Only one offer per Family, regardless of number of devices purchased. You can share your 1 year free Apple TV+ with up to 5 other family members via Family Sharing.” [2]

Trying to get a second trial would be considered combining offers.
