Iphone 12 pro delivery date question.

I ordered the iphone 12 pro in pacific blue. Its says estimated delivery date is december 1-8. Did your iphone 12 pro arrive on the estimated delivery date they gave, or did it get backordered or anything?

I ordered the same on 21 October. Still waiting. It's as if Apple didn't know people would buy this phone. I'm switching from the Samsung Note9. I'm tempted to just upgrade to another Samsung, if this wait extends too long.
