On my iPhone 8, I choose the scan icon for enclosures. I am able to scan my two-page doc and save. Then nothing happens. I'm stuck looking at my draft email with no enclosures. When I send, the recipient says there's no enclosure. iOS 14.1
Is there something I'm doing wrong? Or what?

Please verify you followed all the steps here, as it may have changed slightly from previous iOS versions: Add attachments to an email on iPhone - Apple Support
Also verify you have enough iCloud and device storage. Both may be relevant depending on your settings: What's the difference between device storage and iCloud storage? - Apple Support
If necessary, make storage space in both iCloud and the device, and retest. Thanks and have a wonderful day.
It seems to work as expected now that I've upgraded from my iPhone 8 to my iPhone 12 mini.
