Well, just so you know, a 2011 MacBook Pro can't run anything above 10.13.6, High Sierra, and 2011/2012 MacBook Pros can't do 4k video.
Really depends on your budget and whatever you plan on using the gear for, no?

Due to them being cheaper, also I really want portability, I am using the devices mainly for 1080p or if it is possible then 4k video editing
