I want to buy refurbished AirPods Pro. But I have a doubt that, is it original or fake? The seller said 6months warranty from apple.

AirPods purchase date not validated I was given a pair of air pods pro second generation for my birthday from a friend, I don't have receipt for it. When I check on apple coverage website, I put the serial nr and the product comes up, but it says purchase order not validated, is my airpods original or fake? Please help. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Any product refurbished and sold by Apple will have a 1 year warranty. If the seller is stating 6 months warranty, it would appear the product was not refurbished by Apple, thus they would not have Apple warranty. As to whether they are fake, no one here could say.
