MacBook Air remote lock

Ive remotely locked my MacBook Air because it was stolen. Will it stay locked even after choosing the option to sign out of all devices connected to my iCloud account and changed my password?

Hello, JillParker11! Thank you for posting your question to the Apple Support Communities. We’re sorry to hear about your missing device and we know that you must be eager to confirm that your device is locked to prevent further use.

As it turns out, the Activation Lock would be removed if you remove the device from your iCloud account. You can find out more about how to permanently remove the device from your account page in the following Apple Support article:

Check your Apple ID device list to see where you're signed in

We hope this information helps you.

Cheers!
