Macbook speakers become muffled after few seconds

I have a 2017 macbook pro 15"

One day when i received a message on messenger the Right speaker made some weird electrical noise instead of the normal sound effect, since then after any start up it might play 10 seconds then its gets muffled, you cant hear much.

Now it happend the same thing on the other speaker, so after i switch on the macbook it will play for few seconds only clear music then will be muffled.

I reseted pram but still the issue here.

anyone can help? Im afraid there is a hardware problem, probably capacitors etc cant hold enough, not really specialist

Thanks in advance.

Hi Jutzel,

We know how important it is to have good audio on your Mac. Try resetting your SMC to correct the issue. This article provides steps on resetting.

Hey Jutzel,

Let's continue to work on correct the audio issue. Try testing the issue with the Mac in Safe Mode. Safe mode prevents your Mac from loading certain software as it starts up, including login items, system extensions not required by macOS, and fonts not installed by macOS. It also does a basic check of your startup disk, similar to using First Aid in Disk Utility. This article provides steps on putting the Mac in Safe Mode.

Start up your Mac in safe mode

If the audio issue is present in Safe Mode, you should reach out to Apple directly for possible servicing options.

Contact Apple for support and service

Hope that helps. Have a nice day.
