Apple Notes not syncing to iPhone

Yup, they are in the cloud - I checked on iCloud and they are indeed there in full.

So I did what you suggested, but that didn't work unfortunately. Now it won't sync past a certain point and has just completely stopped syncing all together. I have a 1100 notes confirmed in iCloud, and it is stuck at 1000 or so and won't sync any further. Even the first 1000 was painful - it would stop working and I would have to close out Notes on my iPhone and open it again to get it working again. That's no longer working either. It won't sync past the point it was at when I started this.

Is there a way to force iCloud to sync on the iPhone? I've Googled a bit, and it doesn't look like it.

That seems to have done it - everything is syncing! I was hesitant to turn off Notes in my iCloud because for all my time using Apple products, I've had more trouble with iCloud than anything else I've ever used with Apple. It's done me dirty more than once. :)

I haven't - because when I do this it asks me if I want to delete my notes from my iPhone. That doesn't seem like a solution, unless someone is going to tell me differently. :)
