Unable to paste into dialpad

I used to be able to copy/paste phone numbers into the dial pad on my iPhone 11Pro Max after the most recent update. I can, however, still copy and paste into other apps. I’m doing the same thing that I always have, highlight the number, hold it down to get the option to copy and select, go to the dial pad, press and hold, but “paste” doesn’t come up. If I move to messages and paste the number, it works. Any suggestions?

The cursor is missing in iPhone dialer. Not able to add numbers in between. Why in iOS we are not able add a number in between in the dialer ? For example, we copy pasted a number on the dialer. Now we want to add a number in the middle. Its not possible. We have to backspace half of the numbers to add that one number in the middle or we have to paste it somewhere else and edit it. Then recopy and paste again. It was there 3-4 years back. The most simple feature but highly needed. Why is no one talking about it. I find no discussions on this topic by anyone.

Can't hold and paste a phone number in phone keypad to call I used to be able to copy a phone number from a website or other space and paste it in the phone keyboard by holding down and pasting. That is not working anymore. That's a very necessary feature for me. Iphone 12 pro max

Copy and paste phone numbers isn’t working I have an iPhone 12 mini (wasn’t listed as an option on the settings of this post). I am not able to copy a phone number and paste it in my keypad to call. I highlighted the number I wanted to call, opened up my keypad on the phone all and tried holding down my thumb to paste it like I normally do, but nothing pops up. Anyone else having this problem?
