iPhone keychain syncing issue

Hi, I'm having an issue getting the passwords on our iMac to sync on my wife's iPhone 7. I'm not having any issues with them syncing on my iPhone 7. Both iPhone 7's have been updated to the most recent iOS, 14.2. On our iMac running Mojave 10.14.6, I have in the "system preferences", "iCloud", "Keychain" is checked. On both of our iPhones it is also checked under "Settings", "Our names", "iCloud", "Keychain" (On). I have tried to "uncheck" the Keychain on both of our iPhones and on the iMac. Then I "checked" the Keychain on the iMac, waited a few minutes, "checked" the Keychain on my iPhone and then after a few minutes, "checked" the keychain on my wife's iPhone. That didn't work. When I go to "Settings", "Passwords" on my iPhone, they seem to match what's on the iMac. But when I check Passwords on my wife's iPhone, she doesn't have the latest passwords that have been created on her iPhone. She seems to have a lot of older ones that have long since been deleted or not used. I'm not sure why her phone isn't syncing. Any thoughts or ideas? Should I sign her out of her Apple Id on her phone, then log back in? In doing so, do I need to uncheck the keychain again on the iMac and my iPhone, or would that not be necessary? Thanks in advance for any advice/feedback.

It sounds like you're having issues with iCloud Keychain syncing. We can understand wanting to get that resolved. We want to help.

Are you saying your phone and your wife’s have been set up with the same Apple ID?

Family sharing will share icloud storage but not keychain.

Peter, no my wife and I each have our own Apple ID on our phones. I do have family sharing set up with me as the organizer and her name added as a member.

Someone may know but judging by the difficulty of just reading your own passwords I doubt it.

Thanks Peter. I was starting to think that was maybe the case. I think what confused me was she had a lot of the same website/passwords in her phones keychain as I do, but not always the most recent and I think that is because many years ago with our previous iPhones, I had both phones using my Apple ID. When we got new phones, I set up her own Apple ID, but they keychain from the old phone copied over to her new phone. So all this time I was thinking she was synced to my keychain, but she isn't. Do you know if there is a way to export/import my keychain into her phone so she has the most recent and up to date website/passwords? Or is that not possible to do? Thanks for your input.
