iPad is blurry and shadowed

My iPad screen just started going all blurry, and everything I do causes it to 'shadow' on the screen. The screen also has a funny sort of high contrast white background, making it very hard to read much of what is on the screen. I have tried shutting it done but this hasn't worked.

Please help me.

Hi Captain_Obvious04,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. We understand you’re having trouble with the screen on your iPad. We’re happy to help.

First, restart your iPad: Restart your iPad

Then, check to make sure you don’t have any display accommodation features enabled: Use display and text size preferences on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

Should none of the above help, try reinstalling the software on your iPad. While this shouldn’t remove any information from your device, it’s a good idea to have a recent backup handy: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

To reinstall iOS, follow the steps in the article below under the section labeled “Put your device in recovery mode and set it up again”: If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If the issue is still present after reinstalling, contact Apple Support.

Take care.
