My IPad Pro 12.9’’ screen is blurry and dark, how can I fix this?

I paused a livestream on my Ipad to reply to a message on my phone, took about 10 seconds. When I went back to play my livestream my ipad had gone almost “dim” but ever darker and super blurry. It is so blurry I can’t navigate it. I’ve already tried to reset it doing the volume+ top button combination. And it hasn’t turned “on”. The only thing I see is a very very blurry image of the apple logo when I reset it. What can I do? And will I be able to fix it without the apple insurance plan?

If you already tried (to no avail) a "forced" restart of your device, using these gestures:

  • On an iPad with a Home button: Press and hold the top (power) button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
  • On other iPad models: Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the top (power) button. Only when the Apple logo appears (it might take 15-30 seconds), release that button (ignore all other screens that might appear).

then, it might be a hardware problem but we, just users like you, cannot diagnose that kind of issue remotely, sorry.

If the issue persists, contact Apple Support, using this link:--> Get Support or make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> Apple – Location Selector. After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.
