Some websites will not fully load on my old iPad .

My iPad air is old but updated to 12.4.8 Model #MD788LL/A. It will not fully load some websites. The one I am most anxious to use is the Washington Post website, but a few others are doing the same thing. Please help to fix!

Hello.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're experiencing issues attempting to load specific websites on your iPad Air. If so, we'd like to help out.

Does this issue occur on multiple Wi-Fi networks you connect to? You can try the following troubleshooting steps to see if it helps sort this issue out. Go ahead and force close Safari, then clear your browsing history. Just in case, the following resources can guide you:

How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Clear the history and cookies from Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Once you've completed these steps, test out Safari. Feel free to keep us updated. Cheers.

While all third party Web browsers use the same Apple Safari Webkit, many browsers find ways to do things that the default Apple iOS Safari Web browser won't.

Also, the iOS 12 version of the Safari Web browser has not had any major updates in over 2 years!

Try other third party party Web browsers that are still compatible with iOS 12 and are still receiving regular updates.

Still many third party Web browsers that still support iOS 11 and iOS 12 and later.

Best of Luck to You!
