Do I have to cancel my order and make a new one?

I ordered a 13" macbook pro on nov 4, and the site said that it will be delivered by 16th of November, and now i wanted the order the newer one with the m1 instead of the older one, so i need to ask if the one i ordered got automatically updated or not? do i have to cancel the order and make a new one?
