My apple pen does not allow me to do annotations with the pen. I can only do it with the highlighter.

Is there a reason why I can highlight with my apple pen in pages, but I can't use the pen setting to underline words? I was able to for a while, then all of a sudden I can only add drawings with the pen option.

Apple Pencil 2 missing double tap options I have an 11” IPad Pro 3rd gen with Apple Pencil 2. IOS 15.7. When I go to settings to check or change the pencil settings, I don’t have any options to do so. I just get something about scribble. Double tap doesn’t work on the pencil. I’ve restarted, rebooted, disconnected and everything else that has been suggested to no avail. What’s next.
