Left AirPod is quieter than right when both AirPods are in use

Hello Everybody.

I'm having a really weird problem with my AirPods. When I use my left AirPods by itself the audio works perfectly fine. However, as soon as I put my right AirPod in, my left AirPod becomes super quiet. This is extremely annoying and I have no idea how to fix it. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi there DJ1621,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you are having an issue with your left AirPod being more quiet than your right. Sometimes debris in your AirPods can cause this to happen. Try cleaning your AirPods following these instructions: How to clean your AirPods and EarPods.

Try also resetting your AirPods: Reset your AirPods.

We hope this helps!
