AirPod pro settings aren’t saving

Seems to be a bug with the newest version of the iOS update that was put out. Hopefully someone from the Apple iOS dev team finds out about this soon because I imagine a quick patch pushed out to correct the issue wouldn’t be too hard for them to handle.

Conclusion the “press and hold AirPods” feature does not save so immediately reverts back to its default setting.

Having the same issue but this is not what that customer is saying. When you go into the Bluetooth settings and change how the controls work, they do not save. This seems like a bug with the latest OS. As an example, I want my left AirPod to control noice cancellation and my right to control Siri. I also want the left to be able to cycle through all three NC options. I set them up that way, use them for a bit, put them back in the case, go to use them again, use the right one to activate Siri and it goes to NC instead. I access my settings and they never save. This happens every time I reset them.

Same issue here. Had this problem since IOS14 was released. Spent countless hours on the phone to Apple, replaced both AirPod Pro's and was hoping IOS14.3 would resolve. Still no fix. Time to sell them on and buy a competitors earplug that "just works"!!! Totally lost faith in Apple. With every OS release they introduce more and more bugs and then take months and months to resolve.......if ever.

SAME...for over a month. Absolutely maddening.

Well the problem is related to saving the settings of AirPods Pro. Active Noise Cancellation is functioning properly. Please address your advises accordingly.

I am also having the issue. I have had the AirPod Pro since their debut, controls worked seamlessly until last OS upgrade. Now, the Bluetooth settings don't "stick"--that is, each time I use the, I have to go into the settings to select the left ear as noise cancellation, and right one as Siri.

What is the fix?
