New iPhone 12 Pro Max - Apps not fitting in screen?

I had the same problem on my iPhone Pro Max. Instagram & Tiktok was enlarged, I had to update the apps and it work:)

Yes, I have the iPhone 12 Pro and my apps were stretched out. Updating the apps will fix it.

Same issue- make sure your apps are updated, that’s what worked for me.

For me changing the dynamic text size helped on some apps, not sure if this will fix for others.

Make sure you hit the “set” button top right before exiting. Worked for me

So i tried all the comments below, and mine is still not working. I'm on the newest IOS update, and all my apps are completely updated. I've tried several times to switch from standard to zoom, back and forth. But yet the app is still cut off, anyone know of another step? It's doing the same for my friends instagram stories, but not mine. My facetune app is the one that is cut off.

I have the same issue with TikTok. The videos get cut off. All app updates have been installed and I tried toggling between zoomed and standard mode. I am also on the latest iOS update. Please let me know if you know of a fix. Thank you.

TikTok has also been updated but you have to click on the developer section and then you’ll see the new update. You won’t see it when you first click the app must click developer. My TikTok is back working 😁😁😁

Exactly the same issue with the same app, Facetune. I just sent an email to the app’s customer service. I hope they reply and really hope this gets fixed because I use this app a lot. I tried everything everyone said here and nothing has worked so far.

Got a response and fixed! Instructions below with a picture. Now this was for facetune all. If it’s another app you need to get fixed you can see if it shows there on the App Store on your account and update it from there as well.

Hi i get the same exact thing and the text is cut off on tiktok. I have the iPhone 12 that i bought LAST NIGHT!! There's no more IOS update to do i'm all up to date and i got the same thing when i went to the developer section on the app store of tiktok. Still not working :(

It works for me when i set it to Zoomed mode, but setting it to "Standard" again doesn't work for me. So it works only in "Zoomed" mode.

When i run the app in simulator it is set to "Standard" mode by default. I have to manually turn it to "Zoomed" mode everytime. What can be the permanent fix for this? i want it to work properly in Standard mode as well.

This issue is only with iPhone 12 pro max. Rest all the devices its working perfectly fine.

Can someone tell me how to keep the zoomed mode on and fix Snapchat being cropped out at the top. I don’t like standard all the writing is so small! I have bad eyes and much prefer it being on zoomed mode but I want to fix this Snapchat crop
