The auto update will not upgrade to Big Sur as it is unsupported on this MacBook. (Late 2012). If I go to the App store, the download pages reads that it will work on this computer.
Any ideas?
Has anyone tried to install it on a late 2012 MacBook Pro?

Don't know. Here are the system requirements.
I have a mid 2012 MBP 15inch it was running fine with Catalina and I was able to upgrade to Big Sur but after and hour of working in my laptop the upgrade bricked it. Now it wont boot nor keyboard work. I regret the upgrade.
