Graphics Card for Early 2008 Mac Pro

Hello all! Thanks in advance for your help...

I was just given an Early 2008 Mac Pro by a family member. I was told that the only thing that doesn't work anymore is the graphics card. I would like to use the computer as a family machine, but also might like to do some light video and photo editing. Does anybody have any suggestions on what card I should get and where I can go to get it? I have a new Dell UltraSharp 34 Curved USB-C Monitor - U3419W. I would love to be able to easily connect it up to that.

Again, Thanks so much and have a great day!

Dan

It later occurred to me I hadn't checked supported resolutions, and my first set of suggestions above only promise 2560x1600 which may not run your shiny new ultra-wide monitor at full-resolution. To play it safe look you would need something 4K capable like a GTX 680 mac edition.

Alternative find a cheap mac edition card for the boot screen to handle setup/reinstall and then get any GTX 670/680/760/770/780 card (no boot screen) to drive that monster display.
