Unable to change cities in World Clock widget Big Sur
Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see how you add or remove cities in the World Clock widget in Big Sur.

Very helpful, you saved me from getting frustrated since I was not able to figure this easy solution out, thank you 👍
Same here, nothing happens when I click on the orange name of a city.
Thank you, all. Got it done.
IT'S BEEN POSTED ABOUT A DOZEN TIMES. ONE OF THOSE TIMES IS ONLY TWO POSTS ABOVE YOURS.
IF THAT DOESN'T WORK FOR YOU, NOBODY HERE HAS FIGURED OUT WHY.
Amazing, how did you do that? It seemed that this widget is locked when I try
but always 4 cities.
Or one. Or two. Or 3. Or 5. Or 6, 7, 8, or whatever combination of one and four you can imagine.
Some confusion here between 'City' widget and 'World Clock' widget. 'World Clock' can't be edited (except to rearrange the order), but you can add individual clocks from cities of your choice as separate instances of the 'City' widget.
Same here. Click on a city clock within the widget, and it goes to the Date & Time preference pane, not useful for the purpose of choosing cities for the widget. Re-start helped not.
Did you click Edit Widgets, first? You must be in Edit mode to adjust the widgets' content.
FWIW, you cannot add or delete cities, only change which of four cities you wish to display.
This is a painful one for me. I only want 2 or 3 clocks, like I used to have, because that's where my family is.
Does this (mockup) really look that bad?
Me too.
I understand that others are posting that they just click on the cities to change them and it is obviously working for them. But there is a bug or something with my machine. My machine just does not give me that result.
total ********. limits me to four.
Well, four at a time, anyway. Just add another World Clock Widget. You can have four more.
Add another, and you can have 12.
It might be infinite, but scrolling would be an enormous pain in the wrist.
Fixed it!
The World Clock widget is set to have four and only four cities. You can't add or subtract clocks, but you can change the cities.
However! There's a Clock widget which has just one clock. You can add it to your Notification Center. Heck! You can add two!
This is what I did to solve the problem. Two bigger clocks, rather than one four-tiny-clock scenario.
And it works fantastically!
I'm very happy now!
Open Notification Center, click Edit Widgets at the bottom of the window, click on the World Clock, click on any one of the cities in the list.
When you click on one of the cities in the list, a popup menu should open with cities you can choose from.
When I double click on the city name, it allows me to change that city.
Searching and selecting from the list of hundreds of cities.
