DC metro in Apple wallet

When I use my DC Metro card that’s in my Apple Wallet. The stored balance never changes. But the balance on the card scanner goes down. I want to know if that’s a bug? Why isn’t it updating to reflect the current balance?

Thanks for using Apple Support communities. It sounds like your transit card balance is not showing correctly in Apple Wallet. Try the steps in this article: If your transit card balance doesn't update in the Wallet app.
