flickering safari page

Currently I'm running Catalina 10.15.7. Yesterday after opening Safari again I had a frantically flickering dialogue box in too left of window saying the page was reloaded because a problem occurred. This happens on evrtry site I try to access.

The only extension I have loaded is Tampermonkey and have had that on for a couple of years.

I am not aware of any other updates that happened during yesterday between sessions on Safari.

Any help is most gratefully received!

Hello Gorsefire,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. We understand content that's displayed in Safari is flickering. We'll be happy to help and point you in the right direction.

You mentioned having one extension in Safari of, "Tampermonkey." For testing purposes, we suggest to turn off that extension and see if you continue to experience the same behavior. For additional steps to help isolate and possibly resolve this issue, please follow the steps outlined in this helpful article: If Safari is slow, stops responding, quits unexpectedly, or has other issues

Please let us know if that helps.

Kind regards.
