Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!
I'm using MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2018, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) and running Big Sur.
I selected Dark Mode in system preferences but only the menu bar turned dark.
Finder windows, Safari, etc remained unchanged (i.e light mode).
What could be the problem?

I have a few 3rd party apps that switch to dark mode - WhatsApp and IA Writer, but yes, none of the Apple Apps follow the Dark Mode setting.
I even went through the pain of reinstalling BS, but that made no difference.
And same machine as you, 2018 MBP with Task Bar
