screen saver
My screen saver is set to use a specific set of photos in a folder. Since updating to Big Sur, the screen saver is stuck on the first photo and will not change. Any advice? MacBook Pro 15", only a year old.

thanks for your quick reply. Not happy with this latest update. Think Steve Jobs wouldn't be happy either. Feels like a 15 year old did the graphics, changes in the email are horrid, not happy with this at all.....and comes with a lot of bugs.
anyway - take care and again thank you for your quick reply

I have exactly the same problem on my Mac Mini.
edit: Actually it isn"t stuck. It just takes ages between pictures. So long in fact that the screensaver of the television kicks in because there is no action from the Mac Mini.
I sat with my screensaver and after 10 minutes it still didn't move
anyway to fix this?
No, it's stuck. I talked with an Apple customer service tech in chat, and he advised me to reset the PRAM/VRAM, but that didn't work. I think it's a bug in Big Sur that needs to be addressed.
Try enabling "Show with clock". Apparently that works for some.
I just tried this, and it works for me!
How bizarre.
Thanks for the temporary fix.
You're welcome.
works great, and now I know how much time I'm spending watching photos :)
Yes, this works, however, I don't see any reason why this screensaver mode shouldn't work without a clock. The other modes work without a clock, and the classic mode should work as well.
