Catalina, Safari webloc icon white after Safari update

I experimented with that. It works fine, the only Problem is that it "Updates" all the .weblocs to that Moment you change the Icon, so if you're looking for a webloc you saved in March... you're SOL.

I guess the last Three Safari Updates were September, November and December... and just for Catalina and Mojave.

I guess I was halooin'. I didn't realize the problem exists in Catalina too. I wrongly assumed it was just a Mojave problem... d'oh<

Does it exist in any of the other OSs besides the Mojave and Catalina?

Someone said Apple is working on something "new and exciting" with Safari that is supposed to be a Major Change... could they be waiting for that to Happen?

That was a very nasty thing to do. Someone took too long of a coffee break. This will try the patience of any good person.

yeah, was really wondering all day what happened and about my icons. Apple is such a big company and no one tests the software properely before release?

What is the deal with Apple? This cannot be a major fix so why the delay? I am not going to update to Big Sur yet just to get the webloc icons to show correctly.

Why can’t Apple provide an update to Safari browser for Catalina so the webloc. Icons will show correctly. Please provide the .icns icons in the web package.

In the Thread over at MacRumors, a fella said he tried doing that and messed up his OS.

Some folks I've sen are saying that it may mean that Apple is Changing something in Safari... sounds a little squirrelly to me.
