Big sur dock enlarge not smoothly and overheat irrationally

Hey, there. I am using MacBook Pro 2018 model and have my system updated to Big Sur yesterday. The Dock bar just can't not be enlarged smoothly when it is connected to an external monitor through HDMI cable. Besides, my laptop keeps the temperature of 77degree celsius in average(not connected to external monitor) while I am only browsing(not watching video). This can't be right if Apple claims that Big Sur can save more power on Browsing than before.
