I recently purchase Final Cut Pro X. Can I upgrade to Final Cut Pro (latest version)?
Yes. Same application. They dumped the X because macOS X is gone.

Go to the Mac App Store and sign in with the Apple ID used to purchase it. It should be in Updates or on the FCP page.
