Has anybody noticed that you can no longer take a screenshot and paste into the messaging app with Big Sur. You could do this prior versions
oh good cmd+v yes that works. i have remapped paste to ctrl+v which is greyed out.
yes we have four different model Macs and they all react the same way - HOWEVER - you can paste in using cmd-v instead of using the mouse but thats a bit of a pain
I am having the same issue since upgrading to Big Sur. I can’t paste images into iMessages. Fortunately cmd V works as referenced above.
I have reinstalled Big Sur from the recovery partition and logged in and out of iMessages numerous times. No change.
Anyone figure out a work around to get the mouse cut & paste to work for images in iMessage? I have not contacted Apple support since no one seems to be getting any resolution contacting them other than ‘reboot’.
I hoped this gets fixed soon in a sw update.
I learned that it works with safari but not chrome or other browsers.
I'm having the same issue. The cmd+v is an good temporary workaround, but do you mind filing a bug report? I'd do it if I knew how. Thanks!
yes i have noticed that, and came here to see anyone else have a solution to this issue. haha. drives me nuts i use this all the time.
