I have the same exact issue. on EVERY call I've been on a few minutes in, my call disconnects with a "Call Failed" message. I call back and again it holds up for a few minutes and fails again. IF I DISABLE WIFI MY CALLS DO NOT FAIL. With all of my failed calls, I was no more than 10 feet from my wifi router. This did not happen with my iPhone X. It does NOT happen for my wife's iPhone 11 Pro Max or my son's iPhone XS Max. I have extremely fast and reliable internet/wifi speeds (950 MB down/ 41.5 MB up).
I have same Call Failed issues on iphone 12 pro max on ios 14.3 even after turning setting from 5G to 4G. Another family member encountered same error on iphone 12 pro. Other non iphone 12 phones on ios 14.3 do not have this issue.
Contacted Apple support and Apple support asked me to contact operator. Contacted operator and operator said could be due to iphone 12 signal receiver weaker. Really do not know what to do now.
My issue is when I am in a call for approximately 5-10 minutes the call drops. It is very frustrating, especially when I am working. I have WiFi Calling enabled, I should have 5 G's. My iPhone X never had this problem in my home, same desk same everything. Is there a fix for this?

i have similar problems. When calling someone the call cuts off randomly than "call failed" appears. I attempt to reconnect but don’t manage until the 3rd/4th try. Then a "enter sim code" appears in a split second only then to reconnect to the call. Very very irritating. Haven’t had any problems with my iPhone X. Just got this new phone and is starting to annoy me. Apple support - help?
