iOS 14 - phone vibrates for no reason

After the upgrade to iOS 14 my phone has begun to vibrate for no reason. No badges or other alerts, vibrations continue after clearing out the Notification Center. I even went through, app by app, turning off/minimizing notifications for apps I use infrequently (or do not want notifications from).

I do not want to turn off vibrations (though that does seem to work), as I do want notifications, I just want them to be meaningful.

From replies to other posts (about vibration not working (!?)), it sounds like others with this issue are able to stop the vibrations by charging their phones. I’ve only seen this when not being charged, as well, but am unsure if this is related.

We see that you're experiencing an issue with the iPhone vibrating, even when there are not any notifications coming through. We can understand wanting to put a stop to this.

What type of iPhone do you use? Which version of the software is on your iPhone? If the software is not up-to-date (iOS 14.2.1), you may want to update it. Here's information on how to Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

If you have not tried already, please Restart your iPhone. Does this help to resolve the issue? Often this simple step will refresh the apps and software on the device to solve numerous problems you may encounter.
